Complementary Does Not Run on Bedrock

Complementary Unbound and Reimagined target Minecraft Java Edition only. Bedrock uses a different rendering path and cannot load these Java shader packs.

If you play Bedrock on Windows, consoles, mobile, or a Game Pass edition that is Bedrock based, you need Bedrock-compatible packs from other creators.

Why Complementary Shaders are Java only

Complementary Shaders ship as Java shaderpack ZIPs for Iris or OptiFine. Bedrock does not read that format.

Marketplace or third-party Bedrock resource tools are a separate ecosystem. This site does not convert Complementary packs for Bedrock.

What to do instead

Stay on Java if you specifically want Complementary Unbound or Reimagined. Install Iris and download from this site.

If you must stay on Bedrock, look for Bedrock shader-style packs built for that edition, and treat them as different products with different install steps.

What Bedrock players can do

Use Bedrock-compatible lighting packs from Bedrock sources. Do not force a Complementary ZIP into Bedrock folders, it will not behave like Java shaders.

Not through this site. Treat Java Complementary and Bedrock packs as separate projects.
Not as the Java Unbound/Reimagined Iris packs covered on this site. Stick to Java for Complementary Shaders.
